Why it Matters
- Publishing: ensures a smooth and reliable experience for your users by allowing you to preview and test new content drafts or changes before pushing them out to production environment.
- Versioning: allows you to keep track of content changes and quickly revert back to previous versions in case new content starts performing worse (e.g. lower completion rate, lower goal conversion rate, etc.).
Publishing & Unpublishing
To start showing content inside your application, GuideWhale allows you to selectively publish content across different application environments. This way you can first finish configuring and editing your drafts before testing them in your testing environments or ultimately pushing them to production. When publishing a new version, you can add a description of the content changes to keep a record of what was updated in each version. To stop showing content inside your application, you can unpublish your content from the environment(s) you want to hide it from.
Version Control
Each individual content record has its own version history, allowing you to view published content versions, preview them and switch back and forth between them for each application environment.Version control is coming soon…
