Why it Matters

Understand how widely your application is being adopted and how quickly your users are achieving value from it. Milestone completions are a key indicator of successful onboarding and improved understanding of your application, giving you a higher chance of retaining users over time. By analyzing your milestone adoption times, you can understand how long it takes for your users to start gaining value from your application. A low adoption score indicates that your users are only working with a limited part of your application, leaving a significant portion of your application’s value untapped.

Definition

User adoption measures how widely users are starting to use your application by completing core adoption milestones. Adoption Score=Users Who Completed Selected Milestone(s)All Active Users\text{Adoption Score} = \dfrac{\text{Users Who Completed Selected Milestone(s)}}{\text{All Active Users}}
